Lansdowne Area Residents' Association (LARA) was established more than ten years ago to provide a communal voice for residents in the area. Historically part of Brunswick Town, the majority of the properties are grade II listed. We use this blog to publish and share the latest news from our neighborhood.

- IF YOU LIVE IN THE AREA, WHY NOT JOIN US? LARA has a formal Constitution and is recognized as a Community Group within the Brunswick Area of Hove. Meetings are held quarterly and notices are displayed in Le Grand Cochon (corner of Lansdowne Place and Western Road). Over the years, LARA has achieved satisfactory outcomes on such issues as: Parking and traffic, litter, graffiti and refuse collection as well as a deserved recognition for the area!
